UPCOMING EVENTS

Things may be cold and miserable elsewhere in the country - good reason to be housebound, but here in Port Charlotte the weather is fine and we have things for you to get out and do!

•There are two dinner dances this month. First up is the WOTM annual Valentines’ day dinner/dance. Enjoy your choice of entrée and the music of Billy G on Saturday, February 11, from 5-10 PM. Tickets are $10 until Feb 5, after that date tickets cost $12. See the newsletter for details.

•Since everyone seemed to have a good time at the January Jubilee, we are holding a February Frenzy on the 4th Saturday of the month (and will have a dinner /dance every 4th Saturday). Joy & the Gang provide the entertainment, the kitchen will serve up a choice of main course for you—all for only $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Again, more information is in the newsletter.

•Sunday afternoon will be the scene of a weekly grillefest starting February 5. From 1-4, volunteers will be grilling sausage sandwiches, burgers and hot dogs when you order. Support this function so we can continue it at least until the end of season.

•Superbowl is coming up and Moose 2121 is having a party! Drink specials, all TVs are working-just bring a dish to share and enjoy the championship game.

•We hate to see the Tiki bar empty so we are trying something new. Beginning on Monday, February 13 from 7-10 PM we’re having an Open Band Night. If your group plays, or you just want to hear a new group, be here at the Moose. This is a work in progress and we expect to see some changes as we go along. So stop by Monday evenings and and help us decide what works and what doesn’t. Mark the date: February 13, 7 to 10 PM at Port Charlotte Moose.
